Introduction to Delta Hospice Society

My name is Angelina Ireland. I’m the president of the board of the delta hospice society. I came to the society seven years ago as a cancer patient and utilized the support services offered by the society. I was very fortunate to recover to good health. I am like every other person involved in the delta hospice society, we give it our heart our time and our energy. Some of the friends I met in treatment did not recover and ended up passing away inside of this hospice. It is for the people like them who came before us and those that will come after us that we have fought for the past 12months to keep euthanasia out of this hospice.

here …{the clergy} were given permission to go hold the hands of poor dying souls who are receiving MAiD. Our community needs to hear your stories. If priests and deacons are attending MAiD murder at our regional hospital, what message other than ‘Must be ok!’ are they sending? They need hard facts and a way forward — we need to reach these people before they say Yes to MAiD.

    Dear Angelina
God Bless you and your good works.
Keep the faith and the fight strong.

If I win a large sum of money I would happily fund your services to the fullest extent.

Just read about your courageous stand and what it has cost you financially and geographically. I am so impressed and grateful for people like you who stand against government policies that don’t align with your mandates and go against our freedoms. We have seen how MAID has been a slippery slope, and your stand against it in your clinic, and being willing to take the hit is admirable. Thank you

Delta Hospice Society’s work has never been more necessary than it is now because of limited healthcare resources and an increasingly aging population. Our work is made possible entirely by donations—we receive no government funding whatsoever. Your membership and monthly giving helps us reach more families in need of caring assistance. Thank you for your generous support.
